Two die from injuries after separate road accidents in Jashore

Two people injured in separate road accidents in Jashore’s Sharsha upazila died early today while undergoing treatment in Dhaka.
The deceased are Nayan Hossain, 35, from Baganchra village, and Saiful Islam Sujan, 33, from Shyamalagachi village, both in Sharsha upazila.
Sujan and Nayan’s family members said the two passed away around 2:00am in the ICU of Dhaka Green Lab Hospital and Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Sharsha Police Station Officer-in-Charge Amir Abbas said Nayan was seriously injured in a bus-truck collision at Gadkhali on the Benapole-Jashore highway on Tuesday afternoon. He was first taken to Jashore General Hospital but was later transferred to Dhaka Green Lab Hospital for better treatment.
Nayan had been on life support since then and passed away this morning, the OC added.
In a separate incident, Sujan suffered critical injuries in a motorcycle accident in Navaran on the Benapole-Jashore highway on October 20, OC Amir said.
He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he too died early this morning.
